I have three MSN.com e-mail addresses. When I open MSN
Explorer, the three identities show up, I click on the
one I want to open, I enter that password, and Windows
opens with that identity.
This evening, I wanted to check the e-mail in one account
which I seldom use, and was rebuffed by a message that
said that the user name and password were not correct,
and that I should re-try. It simply would not let me in.
I then logged onto my ISP, opened up "MSN.com" and then
logged onto that msn e-mail account using net-passport.
I was able to open and read e-mails, etc., so there is
nothing "wrong" with either my user ID or my password. I
closed that out and came back here to MSN Explorer,
opened both of the other e-mail accounts o.k.; tried the
third one and again received the error message.
(Windows XP, IE6.0, new Gateway; all virus definitions,
security alerts, and updates are current.)
