I have WindowsXP with multiple users. I was surprised to see that the
playlists seem global - if one user creates a playlist, all users can
see the it, even though they correctly can't get to the actual music.
Is this the usual behavior? I would have thought that each user
would have separate playlists.
Where are the playlists stored? The help talks about a My Playlists
directory, but I don't see it in Windows Explorer. I searched the
entire disk, and the registry for one of the playlist strings and came
up empty.
Do some computer vendors customize this?
