Playing CDs

Ionizer

I can't play my "burned" music CDs on my stereo. What have I done wrong?

Ugh. You're posting your question from the website so you'll probably never
see any of the answers to your question.

Still, three possibilities immediately come to mind:

-You have not "closed" the *audio* CD you burned.
-You actually burned a *data* CD.
-You have an old CD player which won't play CD-R discs.

Ian.

1. What kind of CD's did you use? CD-RW's and CD+RW's will not play on vast majority of stereos (should be CD-R or CD+R)
2. Some older stereos will not play any burned CD, no matter what kind you use
3. Try different brands; name-brand like Sony cost more but seem to work better
4. Read the manual that came with your CD burner
Hope this points you in the right direction!

I have had that problem too and it didn't matter whether
of not the session was closed...Maybe the burner
is 'going'. Burn a cd elsewhere...or try the "broken"
burnt one on another machine...It isn't always the
software...it CAN be a hardware issue...
