Play WMV file in pps

The embedded wmv file comes up a black screen in my pps file. It plays fine
in ppt mode. How do I get it to play in pps?

I assume, the pps file is in another folder than the ppt file? Black or
white rectangles is often an issue of path length (PowerPoint has problems
with more than 128 characters). Try moving pps and wmv to C:\Test or
something like that.
