Pivot Tables - calculate field?

Hi, I was wondering if someone can help me.

I've created some pivot tables based on trying to get the average of counts
from staff on a daily basis for the week - now it's automatically averaging
staff's counts when they're not working on some of days of the week - example
they work just monday it gives an average of the whole week. What I think I
need to do is calculate a formula in the pivot table so that it gives the
correct average for each person - based on only what they have worked. But
I'm still kind of new to formulas.

What kind of formula will I need to write - is it how many hours divided by
their count that gives a sum figure of their actual average?

Any help much appreciated.

Hi

You will need to provide some more detail of what your source data looks
like.
What are the column headings, what data appears in a few sample rows.
