Pivot table help (blank) fields

Hi,

I have a huge problem...... I have a pivot table with report 3 from
autoformat applied to it.

The only problem is that there are (blank) fields at many places along
with their subtotal (as per my list), many times there are figures in
the amount field but text fields may be blank

Can i avoid a (blank) field from being displayed......along with it's
subtotal.........but the fields subgrouped in the (blank) field should
still display along with their corresponding amounts ?

I can send the excel file to you.

Regards,
Shripal.

Try right clicking on the (blank) subtotal.
choose Field Settings
choose None for the Subtotals

If you don't want the (blank) to show up, you can use the arrow key in that
field header to show what you want.

If you really want (blank) to show up, but the quantity to be gone, I think I'd
go back to the original data and insert another column and pivot on that:

=if(a2="","",a2)

and force those values to be "" or 0's.
