That is just ridiculous for that price....And Pioneer as well Quality writer that one...Might have to get me another writer then, thats 3 i'll have in this machine...:D

I know a few people tht have in the past had problems with Pioneers. I myself have never had any so will continue to purchase from them over and over.

Read the reviews though you may find usefull info there.

Apparently the Bitrate is not able to be changed on this version of the writer which a few people have stressed is a little disappointing.

Pioneer is the only brand of DVDRW I've never had a problem with.

I've said it before but just about every other make has crapped out on me.

Except LG, never bought LG, cos I don't like 'em :D

Scan are not the only ones sellin these drives cheap, look around, SVP are doing them same price, and other places.

This is probably because DVD-media is tested using Pioneer Optical Hardware!
