pictures don't load and links don't work

I need help! When I try to go to certain websites, some of
the pictures and graphics don't load. I just get a box
with a red X in the middle. Also, when this is the case,
the links do not work. I have noticed that most of the
sites that have a place where you log on do not work, such
as ebay. Sites that you do not log on to seem to be ok,
such as cbs.com. I tried to scan for parasites, but it
said I did not have any. Also, I have tried re-installing
IE and that did not work. Everything works fine on
Netscape.

Try the following and see if they help.

Red X Instead of Images - Can't see or save Images/Pictures

Try clearing the IE cache. I.E./Tools/Options/General/Delete files (and
delete offline content.)

Right click on the graphic you see and a pop up menu should appear. Select
"Show Picture" option.

Then, go to Internet Options>Advanced Tab
Show Pictures - check option if
unchecked to display pictures all the time.
