Sometimes while playing games on my computer it will all
of a sudden exit the application and go to a blue screen
and I cant read all of what it says because my computer
restarts so fast, but it says something about beginning
to dumb physical memory and then it restarts. Any know
what I am talking about and how i can fix it?

Turn off "automatically restart", under Control Panel|SYSTEM|ADVANCED
tab|START UP & RECOVERY.

Then perhaps the error will remain long enough to be used for diagnosis.

It would help, also, to know how much RAM you have installed, CPU etc...
My neighbor recently bought a new Dell computer (the one for maybe $599) and
her kid loads games onto the computer, gets bored with one and loads
another and can't understand why the brand new computer is slower than
crap(?) Some people buy a new computer thinking it will do anything without
a whimper and they don't realize that the minimum RAM is usually all they
get (256) and this is nowhere near what they need to run XP and run games,
especially since the graphics cards on these entry level machines is usually
garbage at best..
She cant understand that simply because it is a brand new machine doesn't
mean it is adequate.. She also doesn't know what RAM is or its' function...
So, waddya got in da box?

Please reply to news group.

That means your computer crashed and then rebooted after encountering
the error. You probably wouldn't want to make it not reboot because the
info wouldn't matter to you unless you were contacting Microsoft, and
they wouldn't care because they know Windows is garbage
