Photostory 3.1 - Multiple Shows on one CD/DVD

Is it possible to burn more than one story onto a CD. I have a couple of
stories, that are not very big, that I would like to include on the one CD -
instead of having many CD's with only a small slideshow on each. I don't
want to merge the stories, as they are not really related at all.

Thanks.

This is possible but the answer depends
on what software you are burning the CD
with and how you plan to play the CD.

Will this be a simple Data CD or a VCD?

Thanks John,

It will be burned as a VCD. I would like to use Photostory 3.1 to create
the DVD/VCD (although you probably have a better idea).

Previously, I have used Nero to create slideshows, including music,
transitions etc. but have found that the quality of the final pictures are
blurry and not the best. That is why I thought Photostory 3.1 would be
better in that regard. With Nero I have created the multiple-story DVD with
menu options. That is why I thought Photostory may have the same
capabilities.

Thanks so much for your help.

PhotoStory will not create menus. For
that...you need to go back to Nero or any
advanced authoring software.

You can try the DVD Slideshow Builder which is very powerful and very
popular now, many friends and I like it very much. It's very easy to
create a customized DVD slide show with photos and videos, and I can
add music, transitions, and cool pan/zoom effects and make beautiful
DVD menus. To be important, it has great photo and video editing
function that can meet all our needs. And it is easy to crop music to
sync with slideshow. Also, we can create .mp4, .wmv, .avi, .3gp movies
from videos in other formats for our iPod, Zune and 3GP Cell Phones,
Youtube .etc.

You can download it free here
http://www.photo-to-dvd.com/dvd-slideshow-builder.php?sid=8
And a specific tutorial is here

Some useful information such as tips to make slideshow awesome is
here:

If you have XP you've already got free Windows Movie Maker. It lets
you add lots of different music and lots of photos, movies clips and
lets you edit movie clips. But it can be a bit slow and unless you
frequently save it can freeze at random times and you'll lose work.
If you have a legal version of windows XP, you can get a free program,
Microsoft Photo Story 3 for Windows XP. It can do some basic
functions. It can let you do everything windows movie maker does but
with photos.

Hope this helps!

Thanks dabas,

I will check out the site. I do have Photostory 3 so that is how my original
question arose. I also have it embedded in Digital Image which enables the
whole photo editing, etc. then the creation of the slide-show with music etc.
etc. Unfortunately the computer that I am trying to load Digital Image onto
gives me an error and therefore I cannot access the version of Photostory 3
that I need.

These things are meant to test us :(

Thanks.

Hi Sharon:

Sorry, but I don't have anything constructive to add to your case. I just
wrote because I am having problems posting a new thread regarding Anvsoft DVD
Photo Slideshow and I don't understand the procedures. I see no
MS link to in which to address my problem. Can you please help?

Hello Kermit,

That is nice that you decided to respond to my posting. Did you try
clicking on the "New" button - next to "reply". That begins a new thread.
You are in the right group in which to post your question. Add an
appropriate Title and somebody will respond to you very quickly. Make sure
you tick "Notify me of replies" - which go straight into your Inbox and
allows you to link back to the posting to view the responses.

Good luck with your program :)
