photoshop web photo gallery

does anybody out there use photoshop 7's web photo
gallery feature to create an album that they then
incorporate into frontpage 2003?

If so, I would like to talk with you about how satisfied
you are with it (in comparison with other album and
gallery creators) and exactly how you bring the results
into frontpage. Also, the web photo gallery feature
doesn't seem to have many options for custimation...is
there something I am missing with this sophisticated
program?

Thanks,
Jelly

Several articles to read:
http://www.eleanorstravels.com/PhotoGalleryPrograms/index.htm

And:which to choose and Options for the Banner, Large Images, Thumbnails, Custom
Colors and Security (an advanced feature). Very complete instructions can be
found here.you look at File> Automate> Web Photo Gallery. There are only 11 styles, the
directions are fairly straight forward but it can become quite advanced if
you get into the options for Security. The Options are the same as Photoshop
elements.

Statements are from:

I'm familiar with the PS6 photogalleries. Their pretty basic, and create a whole bunch'o files. Yes you can do a little customization.

The way I've done them in the past is generate them to a normal (outside of FP) folder then import them into FP folder, then customize. Problem is you would have to customize a LOT of pages.

I know this may seem a little redundant, or maybe not quite the point, but I find the photoshop web gallery tool very useful for mass resizing and grouping the shots for my web gallery...basically after i run the web gallery action, I just delete the thumbnail folder and use the images folder as my source and create a photo gallery from within FP like usual...all my photos are already resized and grouped so its simple to add them all and go from there.

I have Photoshop and like some of it's automation but for batch sizing and
whatnot there's an app from www.ulead.com called smart saver that's totally
awesome. it's got a great compression routine that results in smaller and
better looking files than anything else I've ever tried.

if they've got the free trial of it you should give it a shot.

IMHO
