Photographs appearing blurred on Screen when browsing using IE 7

I have this new Toshiba laptop with ATi Mobility Radeon Graphic Processor X
1300. The pictures on any website (eg yahoo.com) when viewed in Internet
Explorer 6 installed on the laptop appear blurred as if it is of very low
resolution.

The type of internet connection is a CDMA data card connection (Reliance
India service) using the PCMCIA slot.

? I meant...Dialup or High Speed (Cable, DSL...)?

Maybe you are using one of the high speed
dial up services...lower quality graphic display
is one of the methods they use.
