When saving a PS3 Movie, some folders have a picture on them while others are
black. Is there a way to save a movie with a picture on the folder.

others are black. Is there a way to save a movie with a picture on
the folder.

Try the following:

Select the first picture and go to Customize Motion /
Transition tab...uncheck...'Start current picture using
a transition' / Save button / Close.

When it fades in from black...the thumb is black.
