Photo inside Text Body

M

MapleE.

Hi:
I received an e-mail with a picture that is about 4 x 6.

The picture is in the right side of text body with few paragraphs/words
on the left side of the text body.

I know about e-mailing any photoes as attachment, but this is very new
to me, pictures/photoes inside the text body which is really impressive
in terms to its size. Because, sending any photoes as attachment is large,
not 4 x 6 type of photoes.

Wonder how to make this, ... picutres/photoes on the right side with
some paragraphs/words on the left side of the text body?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Maybe these steps will get you started.....

Open Outlook Express...

Open a New E-mail Message...

Go to...Format / Rich Text...

Go to...Insert / Picture...or left click
the Insert Picture button on the toolbar.
If the Insert Picture button is not live...
left click the body of the message.

Browse to the picture...

Once the picture is in the message you
can drag the handles to resize it and
use the 4-way arrow to reposition it...

If you want text beside the picture...it
would be best if you prepare the picture
with text in an image editing program and
insert the picture and text as an image....

Hi John Inzer:
Thanks for the help provided.

I installed 'Microsoft Digital Image Suite 2006' this past summer,
but I rarely using it, mainly because it's easy for me to access XP Photo
to use. I'm not an experienced Photo-sender in the first place, also not
good at this dept., except receiving nice photoes from folks I know.

However, because of this, newly-found image/photo that my friend e-mailed
me the other day, I started to think of using Digital Image better than XP
Photo.
I'm still using XP with I.E.6 with O.E.6 as well, and no complain about the
same
for years.

My another question is;
Is there a way for me to use 'Microsoft Digital Image 2006' in order to
accomplish this task stated in my previous post?

Thanks again,

J

================================
You can use 'Microsoft Digital Image 2006'
to prepare the image and text. Create a
new blank project / drag the image onto the
blank and add your text. When you are satisfied
with the content...save it as a .jpg and insert it
into your email message.

Hi John Inzer:
Thanks for all the help.

I looked for the site about which you mentioned, but
I am NOT able to find the appropriate site inside
'Microsoft Digital Image 2006.'

Could you elaborate furthermore on this, so that I can
get clear picture 'how to do?'

I am still novice on this, even though I've having it
since this, past Summer when I purchased from Staple
nearby my home.

Thanks again,

Open DIS2006...

Open the image you wish to include in the
project.

Type...Ctrl + N... or click the "New" button
on your toolbar (just below File). (this will
place a new blank 4x6 canvas in your work
space.)

Drag the image onto the blank canvas. Resize
the image as needed by dragging the corner
handles. Position the image by dragging the
4-way arrow or use your arrow keys.

Add your text box...Text / Insert Text.

When you have the image and text arranged
the way you like it...go to...File / Save As / JPEG.

Hi John Inzer:
Thanks all the help. I truly appreciate everything
you have been doing on this board.

I tested it as putting few photoes at time.
I am happy about its result.

However, I still want to get format like this,...
Photo/4 x 6 on the right side of text body
and want to write some paragraphs on the left side
of the text body of e-mail

However, it seems not to able to do, because there is
no program for this to be capable.

Then, I am happy about this, by following your instruction which
mentioned in your previous response to mine.

Thanks again.

===========================
The instructions I posted for you will
accomplish this. You simply prepare
the image and text in DIS2006 before
you save it as .jpg and insert it in the
e-mail message.
