Photo Editor and Picture Viewer

I have always used Picture and Fax Viewer to take a quick look at the photos
I have just downloaded from my Olympus. Since reinstalling XP and SP2 and
Office 2000, the Picture Viewer seems to have disappeared, and the photos
appear by default in Photo Editor at a small size and with no click on
feature. How can I get rid of Photo Editor, and replace the Picture and
Fax Viewer as the default? Any ideas please?

Hi David,

Right click on the image file and select Open With - Choose Program.
Select "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" and put a check next to
"Always use the selected program to open this kind of file and click
OK.

Thanks Bert. It never occurred to me that Windows Picture and Fax Viewer
could be called exactly that in the 'Open With' box! I've been searching
for its file name. The simple answers are always the best!
