Phantom Messages

Hi all,

Having the problem where Outlook is reporting unread messages in a mailbox
when it appears that all the messages have been read. If you logon to
another machine and configure the mailbox profile then you do actaully see
these 'phantom' messages. I'm assuming the problem is corruption within the
Outlook profile, but the user in question opens (in total) 3 mailboxes under
his profile and the other 2 are ok. The mailbox that is having the problem
is an additional mailbox as opposed to his primary mailbox. There are no
filters or rules running and I have tried most of the Outlook switches to no
avail. I daresay that if I completely scrub his Outlook profile and
re-create it, it'll be fine. I'm just wondering if anyone has an alternative
solution?

Thanks,

Dave.
