Phantom domain

Hi All. Need some help. Upgraded an NT4 PDC to W2K DC
but had some replication issues so now i'm in the process
of recreating the W2K DC. While recreating, I promoted a
BDC to a PDC in prepration for a second attempt to
upgrade to W2K DC. The problem is the domain created
during the first W2K upgrade is somehow still existing.
I can tell when going into Server Manager and I go to
Select Domain, the domain name I created during the first
attempt still exist when it shouldn't. Any thoughts how
this can be completely removed?

You may have resolved this by now but, is the previous PDC now 2k DC
completely removed? So now you are only physically left with the One Domain
which is NT4?

Are you only seeing this Domain in Server Manager? does it prevent the
Upgrade from going ahead?
