PFBackup upgrade

I am trying to install/reinstall PFBACKUP for Outlook,
after having upgraded to Office 2003. The backup option
has disappeared from the file menu, the option is not in
Add/Remove programs, and when I try to reinstall it, it
tells me that it has to uninstall a previous version (I
click Yes), but then it comes up with a dialog box
stating "This action is only valid for products that are
currently installed"!!
I have downloaded the latest version.

I have the same problem; don't know how to solve it but I suspect why it happened in my case. I transferred the settings from one computer to another one; for the second computer I did not install pfbackup before I transferred the setting. The fist computer had pf backup installed so what happened is that after the transfer setting pfbackup does not appear in the add/remove programs and I can't change the options or remove it. I tried an uninstall program using just the pfbackup.exe which is in the office11 folder but it links too many required office modules (deleting just the exe file won't help).
What I am about to try is:
uninstall pfbackup from the first computer, save the office settings again, and then import it again to the second computer; if it works I can then just install the pfbckup again

I also have a problem with other setting transfer but I will post it in separate message
