Persistent Adobe icon in new message

User has Outlook 2002 SP3, mail format is Rich Text and does NOT use Word as
email editor.

In the compose new message screen there is an icon to convert to Adobe PDF
sitting on the Standard toolbar the user wants gone. We can drag it off a
given message but it returns on the next new message. We have gone to
Customize and Reset the toolbar with the same result. It’s only gone for
that message. There is no PDF toolbar running, this has attached itself to
the Standard toolbar. We have tried moving the icon to a lesser used area of
the toolbar, but it again comes back to the same old spot.

The user is adamant that she wants this icon gone. Any ideas on how to do
that?

Try uninstalling the Acrobat PDFMaker add-in.
