Permissions with email

Trevor Scarlett

Hi,

2 Questions:

1.Is it possible to give emails permission so that I can specify if they can
forward my emails onto everyone or selected people only or they cannot print
it but just reply only?

2. If I have selected certain emails that only certain people can read but
some people not within that group have access to my inbox - can I stop them
seeing the emails I do not want them to see?

Thanks
Trevor

No. Once it is on their PC they can do whatever they want with it. They
"own" it.

You can mark messages as private and then no one can see it but you. I take
it you're sharing your mailbox. Remove the permission for those you don't
want to see it.

Yes, under very specific setup. Are you logging into a domain at work?
Do they operate a Rights Management (RM) server that can enforce
attributes on e-mails? Are you using Exchange 2007? Are you using
Outlook 2007? All of those are needed to enforce rights on an e-mail
but obviously for e-mails distributed within that Exchange/RM
organization. E-mails you send out to SMTP server have no rights
management. Those recipients can do anything they want with your
content that is now on their property.

Couldn't decipher that question. I'd like to know how you even start
with the first part of your question. Just how are you going to "select
certain e-mails that only certain people can read"?

I sorry I should have put additional information for you.
This will be within an Exchnage 2007 Environment running RM.

Therio:
Scenario....
I have a PA who has delegation rights to my emails and the ability to view
my inbox etc.
I have certain emails in my inbox that I have assigned permissions that do
not allow my PA to view. When she views my emails vai view other persons
inbox will she be able to view the emails I have marked with permissions that
I do not want her to see. Is this possible.

Thanks

Therio
