Permission, Permission, Permission!!!

Help please.
I have two accounts on my HP Vista (Premium) system.

Mine, set to administrator, and Guest, which is turned off.
I am the only user.

What do I need to do to overcome the case where I'm constantly told by my
system that
I need permission to copy a file to a folder, or delete a file. These are
not system files or folders.

This doesn't happen every time I want to copy or delete, I just don't
understand why it
happens at all since I I'm the administrator.

I know it's a Vista safety feature, but should be my choice weather I want
it.

Where are you trying to copy/delete files to/from?

Thanks for the reply Kerry,
I don't recall any of the folder or file names. Suffice it to say that the
folder is one of my own
making and the file was not a system file.
To be more specific and if you don't mind, I'll 'Ping' you (Kerry Brown)
next time it happens with specific details.
To be sure it won't be long...lol
