Permanent changing the mouse buttons

Victor V. Soto

We can't get the mouse setting to remain after a reboot.
We want to permanently change the right button to be the
normal clicking button (left handed people). We can
change it, but once a logoff or reboot is done the
settings revert back. Any help?

Are you using the default XP mouse drivers or Logitech or MS
Intellimouse drivers?

Are you changing the settings "as administrator" or just a
user?

I solved it by going to Start/run/msconfig/Start Up tab and checking "Point
32" point32.exe as a start up selection. From one Leftie to another. hope it
works for you.

Forgot you may not be a mind reader, I'm using a Microsoft IntelliPoint
Optical mouse with latest drivers. 5. After customizing the mouse buttons, I
then added it to the start up menu and rebooted and the settings remained as
set.
