Periodic Stadic!!

The movie is done. Before I burn the project I replay it. I notice that
periodically during the playback I get an interference sound. It sound like
when you unplug or plug a guitar jack to an amplifier and you get the brief
annoying static sound. Can someone guide me in the right direction?

What was the source of the video? Was it a Sony DV video camera? If so,
check to see if the audio was capture with the 12-bit setting instead of
