Performed Illegal operation

I am can not use Excel anymore. I now get an error that
reads "This program has performed an illegal operation and
will be shut down" Under details it says, "Excel caused
an invalid page fault in module excel.exe at 015f:30026d69"

I have tried to reload Excel from my Office 2000 CD and I
still get the error.

Any ideas as to how to fix this issue?
