Performed an Illegal operation and must be Termintaed in XP

Everytime I start IE, windows comes up with an error that
says "internet explorer has performed an illegal operation
and must be terminated." I've un-installed and re-
installed IE, and it still does that. Does anyone have
any help for me?

Look for parasites and if not the issue then please click the details button
and post the exact error message.

IE 6.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.
