Performance montitor stopped working

I usually use performance monitor to see how fast my hard drives are copying
or reading files and to check download speed. Now as I am copying a file or
folder, when I check the speed of read or write, it dispays 0 bytes/sec. on
all counters for the physical disks.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thank you

Kevin

Thank you for that link. It is quite extensive what must be done to rebuild
the counter library. Luckily I dont have to do it because I started
Performance monitor from Administrative tools instead of the shortcut I had
created. I had to add my counters again but it works good now.

Thanks
