Penryn and Socket P questions

I want to buy a Socket P *desktop* motherboard. Here's what I'm
confused about:

Can I put a Penryn into a Santa Rosa chipset motherboard, or only the
Montevina?

Are there socket P Merom's?

The Santa Rosa mobos take ddr2 ram and the Montevina takes ddr3,
right?

Socket P is only for mobile procs, right, there's not like a "Socket
P" for non-mobile procs? (This was the case with so-called "socket
478", which is two different socket types, both called "socket 478",
so annoying).

Does anyone know of a Socket P desktop motherboard? Preferably micro-
atx?

check this out, Mini ITX board though --> http://www.bcmcom.com/bcm_product_mx965gme.htm

its a GME965 so that's a sta. rosa right?
just need updated bios to accept a penryn
sure would fit any micro-ATX desktop case,
just don't know if the mounting pins would align.
