Peer-to-peer video conferencing - anything out there?

There seem to be plenty of ways to do video conferencing over the
Internet via sign-up servers. Free, I know, but I want to use it over
my wireless LAN so it seems ridiculous for the video to go to an
Internet server and then straight back again.

NetMeeting can do it peer-to-peer but is a really nasty piece of
software so I wondered if there was anything better out there.

I think MS Portrait is a little cleaner than NM. Check it out.
