Peculiar behaviour !

Hi guys,

I included some flashy adds from advertisers into my website recently. They
are all html codes provided by them.

When I preview them in FP it looks fine. When I preview in the browser in
my computer it looks fine.

However, after publishing it - the advertisments do not show up in my site.
I use IE 6.

But when I browse in IE 5 in my work place - everything looks perfect. The
ads show up in its all flashy outfits !!!!

Here is one of the pages site -

http://www.kentheteaman.com/tea_types.htm

I am not sure whats going on.

I would appreciate if someone help me out to figure out the problem.

regards,
ken.

I suspect ths some sort of security filtering -- probably by your
connectivity provider -- is blocking the third-party advertising.

Hi, Jim is right as I've had this problem before and it was good old Big
brother Norton ad-blocking. If you're using Norton then set it to allow
adverts. Hope this helps. Fred

Firewall blocking ads? IE 6.0 blocking pop ups?

However, I can see those ads just fine in XP Pro SP2 with IE 6.0.

Hello Jim, Fred, Tom, Steve and Andrew,

Thank you so much.

It works now.

It was the Big brother Norton antiVirus !.
I unblocked the banner ad. Also unblocked the 'Allow trafic'.

I use IE 6 in Window xp home edition.

Regards,
ken.
