Pecular error with Word11.adm

When I make any GPO with the Word11.adm that came with the Office 2K3
resource kit, I get an errror when trying to view the sttings in GP
Management console.

The error is:
The following errors were encountered:
The .adm file
"\\adc01.kennedyhealth.org\SysVol\kennedyhealth.org\Policies\{395343FC-E301-
450C-8B63-A37E225D64CD}\adm\WORD11.ADM" is not in a valid format and must be
replaced. Details: A string is expected at line 818.



I've examined the contents of the adm file and there does not appear to be
an error.

I've reinstalled the resource kit to a different system, in case there was a
problem with the decompression of the file, but this one gets the exact same
error.

I can edit GPOs using this ADM without any problem. It's only in GP
Managemet that I have a problem.

This is a known (but pretty new) issue. it has been confirmed that there is
a problem with that template. Below are the directions to resolve this
issue.

1) Opened the Word11.adm in GPMC:
a) The misbehaving entry is under:

KEYNAME Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Word\Options
PART "Save Word files as" DROPDOWNLIST
VALUENAME DefaultFormat
ITEMLIST
b) The misbehaving entry resides on Line 818:

NAME "Plain Text (*.txt)"

VALUE "Text"

2) Remove the misbehaving line from the Word11.adm and saved the modified
ADM.
3) Reload the modified Word11.adm via the GPMC.
a) SUCCESS!! Confirm the removal of the line resolves the issue.
