PDF wont open in IE6

Using WinME and IE6.
When I click on a link that points to a pdf it does not
open. I can open any pdf file that is on the hard drive
disk with Adobe acrobat just fine, but from IE it wont
even load Adobe.

Also, many times it tries to install VML but fails. Dont
know whats the issue here.

Go into Adobe Acrobat Reader and disable the option to integrate with
the browser. Then when you click a .pdf link, the file will download
into a separate window for Adobe Acrobat Reader instead of trying to
reuse the browser's window.

Thanks for your responses.
I tried what Vanguardx suggested and it did open the pdf
in a seperate window.
However, I feel the MIME type setting that the browser
uses for .pdf files is messed up. Is there a way to fix
this ?
Thanks again!
-Percy.
