PDF to WORD convertor?

P

Peter Wilkins

I've got about 15 pdf ebooks that I want to convert to Word format as
my new Office 2003 version of Word has a beaut ebook reader format
that beats Adobe hollow. I've already go about 50 books in Word
format, and would like to standardise.

I've Googled and found quite a few shareware programs but I don't want
to pay $40 or $50 US for a program that I will probably never use
again. I haven't found any freeware ones, although I've found several
free Word to pdf converters!

Can anyone point me to a freeware converter .pdf to .doc, preferably
one that will maintain graphics and page formats?

TIA
Peter

Ummm, why not just use a trial version since you just need it for a
short time.

You could convert to HTML, and then open the HTML in Word.

A fairly good PDF-to-HTML converter, which keeps most formatting, is
available from http://pdftohtml.sourceforge.net/

Umm, I did, but the trials only converted 10% of each file: to convert
the whole file, I have to buy the software.

Ok, all trials converted only 10%. Yeah, right.
