I use Internet Explorer v.6.0
After installing the WindowsXP SP2, I am unable to download manuals or User
Guides in the PDF format.
Instead a small square with small colored balls is shown at the upper left
side of the Web download site.
I would appreciate any help offered.

Try this:

Temporarily turn off the firewall that was installed as part of XP2. (found
via Start | Control Panel | Windows Firewall).

I suspect that might solve your problem as those files are coming from an
FTP server and I have had the same issue on one computer but not others.

Then don't forget to turn your Firewall back on.

The Portable Document Format (*.pdf) is a proprietary Adobe file
format. Do you have either Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Acrobat Reader
installed? The free Reader can be obtained at www.adobe.com.
