I try opening a document with Adobe and the only way I can open the document
is if I save it to my desk top and sometimes that doesn't work. What can I
do? Shelley

Try downloading the latest version of Acrobat Reader from Adobe's website
and install it. If you still have problems, post back - but be a bit more
detailed about your web browser version, etc. and exact error messages you
get.

I've seen a similar issue with the latest reader (8.1.2) and IE 7. Some
sites just won't let me open PDF files directly. No errors. Download starts
fine but gets stuck at a few KBs and never finishes downloading the data
into my browser. If I download (right click - save target as) and save it,
it works fine. That's my workaround. I have no clue why it does that.
