PC Will Not Recover From Sleep Mode

I have recently purchased an Acer Athlon 4200 PC, with Vista Home Premium
preinstalled. The PC will not correctly recover from the sleep mode, the
mouse or some other function always locks up on restart. Acer indicates
this is a Vista problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If Acer supplied Vista as an OEM it is still thier problem to solve. But,
that said, I had the exact same problem with my new machine. In my case
updating to the latest sound and video drivers solved the problem.Both had
been posted within days after I purchased my new computer.
