Microsoft anti-spyware beta was installed on a machine
running XP sp1. When trying to remote into that machine,
it reboots the machine I am trying to remote into. This
has happened on several machines that MAS has been
installed on. Even after removing MAS, the same issue
occurs.

I think you are seeing coincidence here.

I'd recommend posting in Microsoft.public.windowsxp.work_remotely.

I've been using Remote Desktop to connecto to dozens of machines which have
been running Microsoft Antispyware since the beta started, without seeing
this issue.

What video is in use on these machines? Are you running the latest driver
from the vendor? What happens if you drop back to the latest driver offered
via WindowsUpdate?
