PC freezing on the Net

Dear Friends,

I have a PC with a 350 MHz Pentium II and about 230 MB of
RAM running on Windows 2000 Professional.

The computer often freezes for no apparent reason when I am
on the Internet. I have been using several different
dial-up connections.

Today I discovered Administrative Tools and the Event
Viewers under that heading. Some typical error messages are
reproduced below. If anyone could help me figure out how to
deal with the underlying problems, I would greatly
appreciate it.

The True Vector Engine is associated with ZoneAlarm. The install
of ZoneAlarm might have been faulty. Uninstall ZoneAlarm and also
delete its log files and the *.lbd and *.rdb files from the
\winnt\internet logs folder. Re-install ZoneAlarm with its latest
updates. The computer freezes because the firewall (ZoneAlarm) is
unable to resolve incoming packets as good or bad.
