pc freezes

My PC is only about 6 mos old. 2 mos ago I dded 1GB of memory and a Radeon
graphics card. Everything worked fine. I week ago we added a wireless
keyboard and mouse. Now, all of the sudden over the weekend the pc froze. I
ran all virus checks, spybot & adaware. Nothing came up. When this happens,
CTL Alt Del doesnt work. I have to completely turn power off. Yesterday, I
completely reloaded all software from the beginning because it wouldnt even
boot up to start. After doing that everything was fine for about an hour,
then it frooze up again. This does not happen during one specific program,
it has happened during several. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what
else this could be? I have read several posts about failing hardware, but I
cant imagine that this would be the case seeing as the PC is so new.

One possibility is conflicting hardware. Have you tried replacing the
wireless keyboard and mouse with the previous (presumably cabled) input
devices? If that fixes the problem try adding the wireless keyboard to see
if your PC is stable with that, then do the same with the wireless mouse.

I will try that. Only thing is, is that i have not had an issue with it
freezing yet today.

I was wondering if this could be an overheating problem. The pc was fine
until it was on for about 5 hours. It sat idle for a little while, the kids
used it then i played some onlines games. After about an hour on the online
games it froze up. I had to shutdown the power in order to restart. After
the restart it still froze again. This morning it started up fine, but now I
had corrupt temp internet files. The chkdsk fixed them. Is this something
that would go along with either the mouse/keyboard or overheating or could it
be something else? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
