PC-cillin Internet Security 2005

I ug to XP Heme SP2 and added Pc-cillin Internet Security 2005. I get a
Devise Driver error everytime I start up the computer. TrendMicro has failed
to solve this issue. Then I ug to Pc-cillin Internet Security 2006 but I was
not able to installed it.
I get error 1305. error reading file C:\program
files\trendmicro\pcc2006us_1400_1321\setup\systems32\drivers\mxpft.sys. Then
at the end said verity that the file exists and that you can access it. Pls
help me to solve this problem.

Please read this fully first and then Try, it corrected the problem for me.
PC_Cillin is a sensitive program from my experience, it does not like any
other kind of anti-virus or spyware running with it. Remove them completly or
if your brave and want to continue with problems just turn them off for now.
My suggestion would be to turn off system restore, then go to the programs
default installed location, search for and select the icon in trend micro
that represent the tools file, double click and follow thru to the uninstall
button and select it. Reboot and then go to the tree on C: drive find the
trend micro folder and delete it and all of it contents also. Run CCleaner,
if you don`t have it go to www.ccleaner.com and download it first and install
it. Run this amazing program to clean up everything, it will find leftovers
from trend if there are any. Then go to trend micro and download the current
version of 2006 V._1400-1341 or better. I hope this helps, Cheers!
