Pause Object Motion and Resume at Later Time

How do I pause movement of an object in PP 2007, perform several unrelated
actions, and then resume movement of the original object?

Thanks!

How inconvenient. I worked out a way to hide the object behind something
else, fade it out and then start a new movement with new instance of the
object, but it's a lot of work. Seems like there would be an easier way.

Thanks anyway Austin.

Hi there

I'm not sure exactly what you are trying to achieve, but locking a 2nd path
may help. So, add 2 paths to your object, make the 2nd path locked (which
means locked to the slide position, not the object) then move it so its
start is at the 1st path's end. You can add other animations between the two
paths in the custom animation taskpane. See here for more:

Does that make any sense at all?
