Pause a Sound Temporarly

Hello,

I am creating a presentation that has mostly text and pictures on each
slide, while there is background music playing. However, in the middle of a
set of slides, I have one slide where I play a video with sound. Is there a
way to pause the background music during the slide with the video, and then
have it automatically start playing the again when I advance to the following
slide. Right now I have to have the sound start from some arbitrary point
instead of from where it left off.

I saw in a previous post that this could be done with a VBA Macro... but I
don't know how to do that without some guidance.

Thanks

Reinsert the sound in the slide after the video. In the custom animation
task bar for the sound, find EffTiming > Delay. Adjust the start time to
coincide with the end of the previous.
