Patch for KB938814 AND/OR KB823923

A

Anthony Smith

Good Morning,

I hope everyone is doing well this Friday morning. We have a business
accounting software called Everest that allows us to email Everest documents
(orders, invoices, etc) via pdf format through outlook. Everest generates
the PDF and opens outlook with the attachment. After applying Outlook 2003
SP3 we can't do it anymore. Does anyone know when and if a patch is
available for this KB?

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/823923/en-us

also pertains to:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/938814/

That's the error we are having and Everest appears to be having a time
trying to get it fixed, so maybe MS can fix it on their end.

Sincerely,
Anthony Smith
In God We Trust!

You'll have to open a support incident with Microsoft in order to get that
to happen. Posting here is not an official Microsoft support channel.

I posted here because I couldn't find one on the Microsoft site. It's not
always easy to find patches through there. So I thought since this was a
general Outlook newsgroup someone may have had a patch if it was made
available. Sorry for the post!

Even if someone had a patch, I don't think they'ld be allowed to share it
under MS's terms. You have to get all Outlook patches from MS.

No need to be sorry. I was trying to stop you from wasting your time asking
for a fix from Microsoft by asking in the newsgroup.
