Paste Value only

When I paste text (of a different format) into a cell with a different
format, a small Paste Option icon appears on the bottom right hand
corner of the pasted cell. There are two options in this Paste Option
icon: "Keep Source Formatting" and "Match Destination Formatting".
Since "Keep Source Formatting" is the selected option, is there a way
to set "Match Destination Formatting" as the default choice? - this
will eliminate one more step for my end users to prevent blowing away
the cell format. Or there is a cleverer way to solve this? Thanks in
advance. :)
