Please HELP!! I have access 2007. Yesterday morning I was able to work on
access with no problem, I created tables and even did work in an exsisting
one. Later that day when I tried opening the same database a window opened
asking for my login and password. Seeing that I never set a password, I am
unable to do anything in Access. I am unable to even create a new database.
PLEASE HELP!!!

You (or somebody else on this PC) have managed to create a workgroup file
with a password on the Admin user. In order to rectify this you need to
use Workgroup Administrator (Tools > Security > Workgroup Administrator)
to rejoin the default workgroup file. This can be found at ...Application
Data\Microsoft\Access\system.mdw

Alternatively you can create a new workgroup file (also through Workgroup
Administrator).

HTH,

Ed Metcalfe.

Thanks for responding, but I do not understand, how can I go to tools if I
can not enter anything in Access?

If I'm correct then you can open Access. but then cannot open existing
databases or create new ones. The Tools > Security > Workgroup
Administrator option should still be enabled even with no database open.

If you can I have no idea were it would be. As far as I always knew a
database had to be open. I searched all over when I opened Access and I don't
see it.
