is there anyway I can stop someone from installing anything on my computer
(visitors and kids) without using a password?

I don't want anything to be install without my permission.

From your Administrator account, you can assign the kids either one Limited
account or a Limited account for each child. Limited accounts do not have
permissions to install software. You will need to password protect your
Administrator account.
