I am using Office 2002 with Vista Home Premium. I had this problem with my
XP machine also but it was corrected by removing the user account information
from the "Protected Storage System Provider" subkey. The instructions for ID
290684 provide instructions for other OS but specifically indicate do not use
in Vista. How do I correct this problem in Vista.

You don't - see http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/vista.htm

Only Outlook 2003 and 2007 are fully supported on Vista.
