Password Length

I wanted to limit users passwords min. to 6 characters by
a GPO. Since I could not find Minimum Password Length in
User Configuration, I set the GPO for the OU which is a
container for computers (Computer Configuration-Windows
Settings-Security Settings-Account Policies-Password
Policy-Minimum Password Length) to 6 characters. When I
changed to password to less than 6 characters, system
accepted. Can you tell me where did I go wrong ? Also is
there a way to force the users to set their passwords to 6
alfanumeric characters ? Regards.

you need to set this in the default domain policy not in GPO
