Password for Shared Documents

The shared documents folder are my WinXP Home desktop had been renamed to
documents. I was able to get it back by booting into safe mode, logging in
as administrator, going to the security tab and giving all users all rights
to the folder. Now when I try to access it from my WinXP Pro laptop, I am
asked to login with a password. I never needed a password before. How do I
remove it?

Hi bad1129,

What about the share permissions for the "Shared Documents" folder? share
permissions are different from NTFS permissions. Make sure that the
"Everyone" group has Read access.
