Does a warning at the bottom of the screen indicate that
your machines settings need adjusting?

It's a little icon of an eye. Click it and a box will show
you that the site has cookies disabled. Double click on
the name in the box to allow the site to set cookies on
your computer.

Failing that you may have to lower your security settinfg
across the board. Not recommended. Other sites may be
sending you an advisory e-mail that needs you to respond
in order to verify that you are genuine. Again you may
need to set your cookie handling for it.

Also note a lot of these e-mails may end up in your spam
bin.

The above also applies to Internet Explorer and other applications that use
the Protected Storage System Provider registry key to store passwords.
