Passive voice switch?

T

Tom Duprex

I am working on several legal documents with a lot of passive voice and
that is the way these things are written. I continually have had Word
2002, and 97 spelling and grammar checker point this out only to have
me say Ignore grammar at each instance. Is there buried in Word a
switch or something that says passive voice is acceptable?
TIA

In Tools > Options > Spelling & Grammar, click the Settings button. Uncheck
"Passive sentences" and any other rules you don't want to use.
